Memories..

Okay...I know everybody has had their share of falling, whether it is by yourself or in front of others. But what do you do when you see somebody falling? Would you just pretend you didn't see anything and keep going with whatever you were doing at that moment? Would you hold in your laughter and offer sympathy? or would you stand there and laugh your head off, then offer sympathy? Well, I don't know what to say about the rest of you guys, but I see myself taking the third choice only because I've witnessed people falling and I would laugh my head off first, then offer sympathy second. How rude is that?? But when it happens, you really can't do anything else, but laugh. Anyways! I would like to share an experience, but I'll TRY to keep names out of it. Here I go...so, it's Thanksgiving Day in the year 2007 and we're all having dinner at my inlaws house and everything is going so good...we're all eating, talking and laughing. Well, at this time I was recording everybody while they were eating and my sister-in-law is taking pictures. As we both walk in the kitchen from the patio we were trying to get a picture of two of my other sister-in-laws...so as we were waiting for them to adjust themselves one of them started scooting her chair a little bit closer and all of a sudden...the legs of her chair gave in and she fell flat on her back! Let me remind you that at this moment I was still recording...I stood there with my camcorder still in hand and with my sister-in-law standing next to me laughing like no tomorrow and then we asked her if she was ok. But I have never seen anybody get up so quick and run to the bathroom. Hahaha...til this day I don't think she knows that I still have it on tape of that memoriable Thanksgiving Day! To tell you the truth...when I see people fall, it plays out as a slow motion movie and for me, it makes it more funny...really, really rude, but funny!

  1. Oh my gosh, once I started reading this. The image of that day went through my mind! Oh man, that was the saddest, most hilarious thing I have seen! I have never seen the video though, I definitely want to...That's mean isn't it? I shouldn't say that out loud. I felt so bad that night, but hopefully she knows we all love her!
